Answer
I can't get roaming data overseas. What should I do?
Travelling to Malaysia, Indonesia, Thailand, India or South Korea
If you're travelling to Malaysia, Indonesia, Thailand, India or South Korea and using your plan's monthly Asia roaming data to get connected, be sure to connect to our preferred network operators!
  • Malaysia: Maxis, U Mobile
  • Indonesia: Indosat, Telkomsel
  • Thailand: True Move, DTAC
  • South Korea: SK Telecom, KT Corp
  • India: AIrtel, BSML, Vodafone Idea
You may need to manually select your preferred operator - go to your device settings, look for network selection and turn off automatic to select another network from the list of available operators.

Travelling to anywhere else
If you're on our 5G plan and travelling to any of the 34 destinations we offer free international roaming on, no action is needed on your part - you will be auto-connected to the best available network when you arrive at your destination.
If you've fully utilised your free international roaming data, or are on our 4G plan, do ensure you've stacked on our gigaRoam APAC or gigaRoam ROTW pack, depending on the country you're traveling to.

Thereafter, simply follow these simple steps to get connected to data overseas:
  1. Ensure your device settings is set accordingly to:
    • APN is set to giga
    • Data Roaming is turned on
    • Default mobile data is set to giga SIM (for Dual SIMs only)
  2. Turn on and off Airplane mode for 5 seconds
  3. Manually select another overseas telco providers under device settings (Under your device settings, look for network selection and turn off automatic to select another network).
